Preparation
-
Please stop all active ingredients at least 5 days prior to your appointment. This includes any retinol/Retin-A based products, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (glycolic, mandelic, lactic etc.) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (salicylic Acid or Willow Bark) as they can cause increased skin sensitivity, and chance for reaction to facial treatments.
-
Please speak with your physician and start anti-viral medication (Valtrex/Valcyclovir) 3 days prior to treatment and 1 day post-treatment to avoid flare.
-
Please wait at least 2 weeks after any Botox/neurotoxin services and 4 weeks for fillers or threads to schedule a facial service. Facial treatments too soon after injections can cause them to move out of place. Please consult with your physician prior to any facial treatments.
-
Please let me know ASAP if you have an existing sunburn, rash, styes or irritation prior to service. Depending on the severity of your condition, treatments may be contraindicated and we will need to postpone.
-
If you have a history of autoimmune issues, blood clots or keloids, please consult with a physician prior to booking this service.
-
Best results happen when your body is well nourished and hydrated to help produce collagen and heal the skin. Leading up to and after your appointment, focus on hydration along with eating foods rich in omega 3’s like wild caught fish, nuts (walnuts, pecans), seeds (flax, chia), eggs, yogurt, etc. Omega 3’s are thought to help support collagen production and overall skin health. Homemade/frozen bone broth, berries and citrus fruits are also very skin supportive. If needed, consult with a registered dietitian or physician before taking supplements or making diet changes.
-
Intake forms will be filled out for all new patient and updated annually but please inform us of any changes to medical history or medications prior to each appointment. This includes new pregnancies, surgeries, laser treatments, injuries, diagnoses, etc.
Please avoid blood thinning medications at least 48 hour prior to treatment - consult your physical before stopping any medications.
-
If possible, please avoid arriving to your appointment with anything on your face. This will save time with a cleansing and cleaning step, though of course extra cleansing steps will be included if necessary. For those with facial hair having Procell, please arrive with a cleanly shaven face.

If you upgraded to a Co2 Pro Mask, please apply within 1-3 hours using a clean bowl and spatula. Leave it on for 45 minutes to (1) hour. Use the Procell mask the following day
Change your pillow case and sheets before bed. Pet dander and other irritants (scented detergents, softeners, etc) may cause mild reaction within the first 24 hours.
Please do not excessively exercise or get sweaty for 24 hours. Avoid steam/hot showers/baths, extreme sunlight and heat.
Do not apply any other products aside from Procell post-care serum to skin until the following day as you may introduce bacteria or other germs.
After first treatment (using .25mm tip) you can expect mild redness, swelling and a tight, warm sensation for 4-24 hours.
Later treatments or those using longer needles may produce redness and swelling along with tiny flecks of redness for 4-72 hours. These are easily covered with mineral makeup after 24 hours
-
The morning after treatment: apply Cellular Renewal Serum & Healing Accelerator separately to enhance results. Cleanse and apply 1-3 pumps. Apply daily, morning and night. Follow with Gentle Moisturizer if needed & SPF.
Skin my feel hot and tight, light mild sunburn. Moisturize often and may apply a clean, damp cloth if needed.
Mild skin sloughing may occur for a few days after treatment.
Mild acne or milia (small bumps) may occur in rare cases. Please do NOT pick, they should go away in a few days.
Trans-epidermal water loss is a common and temporary side effect and could leave you feeling dry for the first week. Keep a gentle moisturizer with you during the day and apply frequently using a clean spatula to avoid a dry sensation. The more you moisturize the better results will be.
Reapply a mineral sunscreen every 2 hours the first few days after treatment. Be careful about sun exposure
Return for follow up treatment in 4-6 weeks or as recommended. 3-4 Treatments are recommended for best results
Remember, your body heals itself best when it’s cared for! Stay well hydrated and increase intake of foods rich in Omega 3's (wild caught fish, walnuts, flax, chia seeds, pasture raised eggs) plus citrus and berries for antioxidants along with fresh or frozen bone broth and fermented foods to help with gut health to help rejuvenate your skin.
If prolonged irritation occurs, please contact Pêche. If a severe reaction of any kind such as rash, bruise, swelling, etc., occurs, please contact a physician for treatment and notify us as well.
CHEMICAL PEELS
-
Keep skin hydrated: Use a gentle, non-active moisturizer and reapply as needed
Use only gentle cleanser: Wash with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser (no scrubs, acids, or actives)
Apply SPF daily: Broad-spectrum SPF 30+, reapplied every 2 hours and be especially cautious if outdoors. Also wear a hat and enjoy the shade. Sun exposure after a peel increases burn risk.
Stay cool: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and heavy sweating for 48 hours
Be patient with peeling: Allow flaking skin to shed naturally. Picking can cause scarring or hyperpigmentation so keep your hands off your face
Change pillow case and avoid pets coming in contact with face until peeling stops
-
Direct sun exposure for 7–10 days
Makeup for 24 hours (or longer if your skin feels sensitive)
Exfoliating products (scrubs, retinols, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C) for 5-7 days. Spot test thereafter
Waxing, threading, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks
Intense workouts, pools, or hot tubs until skin calms
-
Day 1–2: Skin may feel tight, warm, or flushed
Day 3–5: Peeling/flaking begins
Day 5–7: Most peeling subsides; skin may look fresh but is still healing. Some mild breakouts may occur
2+ Weeks: Full results appear as skin fully regenerates
-
Keep your routine minimal and use only gentle cleanser, moisturizer & sunscreen. Use nothing else until peeling is complete.
