Choosing The Right Facial For My Skin Type

With so many trends, influencer campaigns, new products and ever changing services in the skincare world, knowing what you need is confusing! I’ve broken down the typical esthetics & facial treatments available our downtown Columbia, SC facial studio based on common skin concerns!

Everyone’s skin is different but I generally recommend most clients come initially for facials every 4-6 weeks. Did you know that the skin cycle is 4-6 weeks long so each time you book a facial, we’re able to treat fresh new skin at the surface, which also impacts the emerging layers below it? Regular appointments combined with solid skincare from the jump are always recommend to amplify every treatment we do in the studio.

For new clients, we always recommend the Pêche Skin Co fan favorite 75 Minute Integrative Facial. This facial combines the perfect amount of customized skin treatments with relaxing facial massage, while also featuring a consultation to help us create a plan for YOUR skin. Here are some services that we typically recommend for each skin type, though it will always vary by person:

Acne-Prone Skin

  • Start with the 75 Minute Integrative Facial and then the Pêche Monthly Membership will likely be the perfect fit for you because a monthly 60 Minute Integrative Facial is JUST what your skin needs. From there we may add in Green Envee Chemical peels, full body LED Red light therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, Esse Probiotic Treatment and more.

  • Later, a series of Procell microchanneling once per year will be your best friend to help breakdown old acne scars, breakup congested skin and push fresh, clear skin to the surface.

  • Vodder lymphatic drainage is going to be critically important for our acne clients so we will use it in most facials and encourage you to come back for 30 minute sessions when possible.

Sun Damaged Skin/Dark Spots

  • We begin with a 75 Minute Facial to learn your skin and home care is going to be critical for you. If you’re not already using a daily SPF, we start there to build a daily habit.

  • Next, a series of chemical peels, Procell microchanneling and Epicutis lipid mask treatments are likely of your to-do list to help lighten, brighten and create fresh & renewed skin.

Sensitive/Reactive Skin

  • Calming your skin will be the name of the game. Again, begin with a 75 Minute Integrative Facial and then manual lymphatic drainage, calming skincare, a combo of Epicutis Lipid Masks & Esse Skincare probiotic treatments are in your future.

  • Add in regular full body LED red light therapy to calm inflammation with some Vodder Lymphatic Drainage sessions and you’ll be on track for stronger, more supported and less reactive skin. In fact, the Lymphatic Flow will be incredible for your skin.

Dry/Flaky Skin

  • First we will focus on healing your skin with a hydrating & calming at home skincare regimen. We will also discuss some lifestyle changes, sunscreen use and other things that may be going on besides “dryness”.

  • Integrative Facials, Procell Microchanneling and a series of Green Envee Lactic Acid peels are going to become your bff’s.

Oily Skin

  • We may treat your skin similarly to acne prone skin or we will simply focus on balancing your oil production with proper home care, some lifestyle changes and discussing some factors in your daily routines.

  • The Green Envee Pomegranate peels and a solid home regimen will be in your plan. Again, start with the 75 Minute Integrative Facial.
