You choose the time frame, and can trust that your facial will be intentionally designed with the targeted techniques your skin needs. Please avoid wearing heavy makeup to your treatment as it will require additional cleansing which cuts into your treatment time. Let’s get down to business! Please also avoid perfumes or scents when possible as we do have clients in the building with severe health issues and sensitivities.
Please remove jewelry prior to appointment so it is away from treatment area. We cannot be responsible for lost valuables.

Please stop all active ingredients at least 5 days prior to your appointment. This includes any retinol/Retin-A based products, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (glycolic, mandelic, lactic etc.) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (salicylic Acid or Willow Bark) as they can cause increased skin sensitivity, and chance for reaction to facial treatments.

Please wait at least 2 weeks after any Botox/neurotoxin services to schedule a facial and 4 weeks for fillers or threads. Facial treatments too soon after injections can cause them to move out of place. Please consult with your physician prior to any facial treatments.

Please let us know ASAP if you have an existing sunburn, rash or irritation prior to service. Depending on the severity of your condition, facials may be contraindicated and we will need to postpone.

Intake forms will be filled out for all new patient and updated annually but please inform us of any changes to medical history or medications prior to each appointment. This includes new pregnancies, surgery, laser treatments, injuries, condition diagnoses, etc.

Aftercare
Your skin has just been deeply cleansed, nourished, and treated. To protect your results and allow your skin to fully benefit, follow these guidelines:

Keep skin hydrated with a gentle, non-active moisturizer
Drink plenty of water to support your body post-facial massage
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily
Use gentle cleansers and avoid hot water for the next 24 hours
If your facial was prior to 3:00pm, you have on sunscreen and should wash your face. Facials later in the day are finished without sunscreen so you can skip washing your face before bed if it’s still clean.
Please avoid blood thinning medications at least 48 hour prior to treatment - consult your physical before stopping any medications.

For the first 24–48 hours:
Heavy makeup, especially foundation and powders
Exfoliating products or treatments (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, or enzymes).
Waxing, threading, or hair removal treatments
Excessive sweating, saunas, or hot yoga
Direct sun exposure or tanning beds

Mild redness or sensitivity may occur immediately after your facial and should subside quickly
Breakouts can occasionally happen as skin cell turnover increases and lingering breakouts under the surface may emerge
Your skin will feel more hydrated, balanced, and radiant over the next several days

Keep your home routine simple for a day or two. Use gentle cleanse, moisturizer, and SPF. Resume active products after 3-5 days. Visit peel and Procell aftercare as needed.

Lymph drainage is suitable for most everyone with the exception of those with active cancer, thrombosis, congestive heart failure, cystic acne and any active infection/inflammation, including Covid-19, flu, colds, sinus infections, etc.
Please avoid blood thinning medications at least 48 hour prior to treatment - consult your physical before stopping any medications.

Aftercare
For best results, lymphatic drainage treatments are most effective when done consistently and paired with supportive lifestyle habits. Let your provider know if you experience anything outside of typical post-treatment responses.

Drink plenty of water to support lymphatic flow.
Expect increased urination as your body processes fluid and waste.
Choose gentle movement such as walking or light stretching.
Avoid intense workouts or high-impact exercise.
Eat nourishing, whole foods and limit excess salt, alcohol, and highly processed foods. You may be sensitive to alcohol or caffeine.
Take warm (not hot) showers and avoid saunas or hot baths.
Prioritize rest and allow your body time to integrate the treatment.

Continue consistent hydration throughout the day.
Maintain light to moderate movement to keep lymph circulating.
Notice reduced puffiness, improved circulation, and overall lightness in the body.
Support your system with anti-inflammatory foods and balanced meals.
Resume normal activities as your energy levels return to baseline.
